At RiseAcu, we offer a pathway to enhanced health and improved quality of life through integration of acupuncture and other traditional Chinese modalities like cupping and moxibustion. This session is for new and returning patients. Your acupuncture session is a comprehensive experience dedicated to your holistic well-being. Our treatments begin with an intake session and a physical assessment to understand your unique health needs fully. Please plan for approximately an hour and fifteen minutes for a initial appointment and forty five minutes to an hour for returning patients. Our goal is to provide you with the most effective session geared to your wellness goals.
Cupping is a deep tissue release known for promoting the influx of fresh, healthy blood to targeted areas. Often likened to deep tissue massage, this therapy has gained recognition, particularly amoung high performance athletes. Our cupping treatments lasting approximately 20 minutes, aim to revitalize and rejuvenate your body.
KT Tape is the latest in light elastic taping. KT Tape is durable, elastic athletic tape that not only reduces muscle pain but can be used to facilitate lymph drainage and reduce swelling and support areas of the body such as a pregnant woman’s belly in third trimester or her lower back. KT tape is a versatile, non invasive way to treat hundreds of sports injuries, most recently seen on TV during the 2017 NBA finals on players from the Golden State Warriors. KT Taping takes approximately 5-10 minutes to apply and can be worn for up to a week.
Needles not your thing? Are you interested in coming in for an herbal prescription only? No problem! Herbal prescriptions are a great way to treat dis-ease states and bring our bodies back to homeostasis. They can be used to extend the benefits of an acupuncture treatment or work on their own to adjust our bodies imbalances. All herbal prescriptions are created at the time of seeing the patient and if a refill is needed the patient must come back in for a reassessment to make sure the herbal treatments are still appropriate. Please be ready to provide all western drug prescriptions as well as any supplements being taken to ensure safety.

Our location is nestled inside the serene ambiance of The Spot Salon Studios, conveniently situated at the corner of El Camino and Park Place. Enjoy hassle free parking right in front of our spa. In addition to street parking there is a parking lot just across the street offering 2-4 hour parking.
