Cupping is a deep tissue release; it helps to bring new healthy blood to the area. Commonly felt as a deep tissue massage and seen on many high performance athletes, most famously by seventh time gold medal winner Michael Phelps in the 2016 Olympics. Cupping treatments are approximately 15-20 minutes.

KT Tape is the latest in light elastic taping. KT Tape is durable, elastic athletic tape that not only reduces muscle pain but can be used to facilitate lymph drainage and reduce swelling and support areas of the body such as a pregnant woman’s belly in third trimester or her lower back. KT tape is versatile, non invasive way to treat hundreds of sports injuries, most recently seen on TV during the 2017 NBA finals on players from the Warriors. KT Taping takes approximately 5-10 minutes to apply and can be worn for up to a week.

If additional research is required and desired by the patient I am happy to do this with an additional fee of $60/hour. Patient will be approached for approval prior to research being done.

Needles not your thing? Are you interested in coming in for an herbal prescription only? No problem! Herbal prescriptions are a great way to treat dis-ease states and bring our bodies back to homeostasis. They can be used to extend the benefits of an acupuncture treatment or work on their own to adjust our bodies imbalances. All herbal prescriptions are created at the time of seeing the patient and if refill is needed the patient must come back in for a reassessment to make sure the herbal treatments are still appropriate.  Pleas be ready to provide all western drug prescriptions as well as any supplements being taken.
